WalkingWomen---------3 Lesbian holidays

The original WW lesbian break
- and another chance to walk and spend time in an all-lesbian group. Most women
come on their own and it's always friendly. There will be a wide choice of
walks each day so that you can stretch or take it easy according to how you
feel. There are gentle walks mainly in the valleys - beside streams and lakes,
or climbing low hills for the view. Intermediate walks can range from wonderful
ridge walks to secluded swimming lakes in the hills! Or you can set your sights
on some of England's highest 'fells' - Helvellyn, the Fairfield Horseshoe, Bow
Fell, or the dramatic Langdale Pikes.

singles. There's a comfortable lounge, conservatory, and a lovely garden for
sitting out in after walking. The food is excellent here! If you want to take a
day off from walking, there's lots to see and do in the area. After walking
there can be outdoor shops and tea shops to visit, games of whatever we choose,
trips to the pub, a party on one evening, or space to just sit around talking.

Bring a towel. Includes: breakfasts, packed lunches, 3 evening meals + a choice of gentle, low intermediate & intermediate walks.

Here we will stay at the Foundry Adventure Centre in 4-6 bedded
rooms and some twins, spread between two adjacent buildings with space outside
for a bonfire on one evening (sparklers only please this year - there will be a
village firework display we can go to). From here there will be a good choice
of Gentle, Low Intermediate, and Intermediate walks each day - up onto Hucklow
Edge and Abney Moor, through beautiful limestone dales such as Miller's Dale,
or even across the fields to the old Plague village of Eyam, and Stoney
Middleton.
The Centre has excellent facilities
including a good-sized lounge for relaxing in and holding a party on the last
night! Gridleford and Hope stations are both about 3 miles away by taxi, or you
can get there easily by car from either the A6 or the A57 running through the
