Please arrive at your accommodation on Day 1 in time for the evening welcome and dinner together. Usually, the welcome will be at 6.30pm followed by dinner – but each holiday itinerary will confirm the details. If people arrive earlier our guides will sometimes do an introductory afternoon/evening walk. Rooms are usually available from 3pm. Our guides encourage groups to eat together but it is always a personal choice.
The walks usually start after breakfast each day and latest by 10am. Their length depends on the grade and sometimes we might change a walk because of the weather. The walk on the last day is shorter, and we are generally back by 2pm so please bear this in mind when making travel arrangements.
On most WW overseas holidays we will meet you in Arrivals at the destination airport. We include the transfer to your accommodation on practically all overseas holidays. Please see your holiday information sheet for the time of this transfer and/or the flights that it meets.
Adequate travel insurance is mandatory for all our holidays and is a condition of booking
It should include protection in case you are ill or have to cancel for other reasons, even on UK holidays. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover we will not be liable for any losses.
If you are still looking for travel insurance, try Emerald Life, a company that works to ensure equality in insurance for women and the LGBT community, and regularly wins awards for their advocacy work.
For single, couples and groups all over the world, with medical coverage for walking and more extreme pursuits.
