DETAILS
This day walk by WalkingWomen will explore the unique history hidden away in a little-known but beautiful part of Berkshire. We will journey through time exploring iron age defences, a medieval moat, ancient trees and an Elizabethan manor house. We will also discover the story of the woman who left her legacy on the area.
You don’t need to be super fit or speedy as we will adapt to support each other but you should be able to walk 7km+ over some uneven ground.
You’ll need to come prepared for a day outdoors with sturdy shoes, layers, lunch and drink.
The kit list below is ideal for our WalkingWomen Day Walks..
