Venice Marco Polo Airport – Annia Park Hotel

A recommendation from one of our Prosecco Hills guests who stopped off to visit Venice.

“ 2 min drive from the airport. Immaculate. Pricey but worth it. Several buildings (with lifts to first floor) surround a main reception area. Used to be a farm, so has a country feel, the gardens are fabulous. Room was comfy, very clean, with a nice balcony for coffee.  Bathroom full of any toiletries you might need.

They do a transfer every half hour to/ from the airport. Just call them when you have luggage at the airport, and request shuttle airport return when you check in with them. Costs 5 euros each way but cheaper than taxi and they lift /deliver luggage to and from van. Very polite drivers.

Restaurant is very good, evening meal reasonable (mains from 15 euros) and open till ten thirty. Breakfast starts at 4.30 am !

Perfect for me. I bought a day ticket for the airport bus (both ways) and all the water taxis in Venice and Islands, (buy at machine at bus stops just outside the airport ,) cost 38 euros.”
