Susie Amann is our brilliant local guide for Connecting in the Cotswolds — and she’s been based in Nailsworth for over 20 years, loving the fact that some of her favourite walks begin right from her doorstep.
A UIMLA International Mountain Leader, Susie has spent more than three decades exploring the outdoors across five continents — from big mountain ranges and wide open deserts to tranquil lanes and towpaths.
What we love most about Susie is the way she blends calm confidence with genuine warmth. She’ll help you feel capable, looked-after, and quietly adventurous — whether you’re strolling through honey-stone villages or stepping out onto bigger, wilder viewpoints.
Away from the trails, Susie also cycles and paddleboards — and once rode Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise funds for Samaritans.
