ITINERARY

The itinerary is to give a guide for your trip – things may change due to weather or circumstances out of our control. We always say Trust our Guide as they will be making sure you get the best experience. Susie will brief you each day about the next days activities.

During this trip you will explore Stroud and the surrounding heart of the Cotswolds with walks:

The Slad Valley – famous from Laurie Lee’s Cider with Rosie. We will have a stop at the Woolpack Inn

Woodchester Park – a stunning National Trust owned valley with a splendid unfinished gothic mansion. We will plan to end with wine tasting at Woodchester Valley Vineyard to try local English wines.

The Cotswold Way – we will walk a part near Wotton under Edge with stunning views over the  Severn and towards Wales

Commons and Canals  – Exploring the canals and common land with a visit to a Stroud Brewery. The Fresh Standard Brewery is run by women.

There will be a chance to visit a women’s run cafe Noni’s , the Natural Kitchen giving cookery classes run by Erin and enjoying meals together in a variety of locally run restaurants.
