Our walks will give you a spectacular introduction to Andorra and the Pyrenees, or if you have been before, a chance to rediscover this beautiful country.

In June you will see alpine spring flowers.

Our hotel is known for charming Andorran hospitality and traditional cuisine. It has a swimming pool, tennis courts and has a restaurant and a beautiful terrace with views of the mountains. The pool may not be open in June (it depends on the weather).

There is an indoor sports centre a 10 minute walk away which was well used last year. It is open from 7am in the morning until 8pm sometimes later. There is a large pool and spa facilities including an ice bucket!

The itinerary may change depending on the weather and at the discretion of our guide. Every day we discuss with the group. The walks are to give you the best experience of this area..

The walks give you an opportunity to explore this wonderful area and experience the variety of the landscapes. You should see wild horses, eagles and a variety of local wildlife as well as flora and fauna.

There will be a free day and options for excursions to explore more of the area.

Day 1 Saturday : Arrival in Andorra – settle in to your hotel, meet the guide and have a pre dinner briefing about the week. Dinner together  at the hotel.

Day 2: Tristaina lakes – 3.5km with 380m ascent

An easy walk to get your mountain legs. We meander beside a string of 3 high glacial lakes situated in a glacial cirque. Alpine flowers and breathtaking views.

If the weather is good we might do a slightly more challenging route of 5km.

Day 3: Sorteny Natural Park. 3km  with 280 m ascent.

This Park is exceptional for its variety of flora, fauna and birds. The itinerary includes a historical mountain hut and is a round trip which finishes in the adjoining valley of Rialb.

Day 7: Final walk day the Rialp Valley – the Blue Lake. 10km. 615m ascent.
