This is part of our series of Get Goat Fit events. You can join for a day walk (this one on Sunday)or stay overnight for 2 days of lovely pennine walking in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. A chance to test out how you feel doing walks at this level with your experienced guide Jo making sure the pace is right and giving supportive encouragement as you go! There will be hills (taken at a gentle pace), some rough ground and a few stiles. You can use the walks to help you get fit for a walking holiday, to meet one of our guides, or to see how you might feel joining a walking women holiday!

Meeting Point:10.45am start at Hebden Bridge railway station.
Hebden Bridge has great transport connections with trains running from Leeds, Manchester, Chester, Preston and many more.
Price: £25 per person for specialist guided walking to build confidence and test fitness levels
Please bring packed lunch, water and a thermos.
The day will end around 4pm. For those booking return trains we suggest after 5pm to allow time for an end of day cuppa.
Hebden Bridge is a pretty market town in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. It is 8 miles west of Halifax which has become very well known as the home of Anne Lister at Shibden Hall. If you have time this could be a place to visit and stay a while.
It is a lovely place to stay so if you would like to make a weekend of it we can help.

Sunday 19th March 10.45am start at Hebden Bridge rail station.
Todays walk is on the south side of the valley. The path ascends to the farmstead of Old Chamber and then follows broad tracks and path up to the local landmark and peace monument of Stoodley Pike. We then descend through fields and woods to hamlet of Horsehold and then down to Hebden Bridge for tea and treats!
