You walk in the North Downs, through poppy fields and to the First World War Centenary Woods at Langley Vale, a living memorial commemorating the soldiers who gave their lives in World War I.

Such a hit in 2025 we had to return. Walks amongst lavender and sunflowers, refreshing swims in the Ardeche river, tunnels and red cliffs - so much variety.
