We hope this positive coverage and interest around our approach to running our business and organising women-only walking tours will further reinforce to our guests our commitment to providing great walking experiences for women.

In February, Ginny, our joint owner, was interviewed by Diva magazine – The world’s leading magazine for LGBTQI women and non-binary people. We featured in the article – Travel Entrepreneur & CEO of Walking Women, Ginny Lunn’s new life would have seemed impossible a mere 12 months ago. Written by Samantha Grierson, it is a frank piece that uncovers some of the circumstances that have led Ginny to where she is today. It gives an insight into Ginny’s path from her previous career to now running WalkingWomen with her sister Sara.
At the beginning of March, we were approached by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. They had recognised us as being one of the leading women tour businesses in the country. They asked us to contribute to their International Women’s Day article: the best female-only tours and experiences. Along with several other great all women holidays, The Sunday Times recommended our Wine Walking Holiday in Catalonia, Spain.
