Hebden Bridge is a pretty market town in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. It is 8 miles west of Halifax which has become very well known as the home of Anne Lister at Shibden Hall. If you have time this could be a place to visit and stay a while.
It is a lovely place to stay so if you would like to make a weekend of it we can help.

A wonderful walk up to the ancient village of Heptonstall, visiting the grave of Sylvia Plath as we go. We will then follow old packhorse paths to join the Pennine Way. Crossing high meadow land, we will then start the route down to the pretty canal and back to vibrant Hebden Bridge with its many cafes and small shops. A wonderful place for a cuppa or a local beer to end the day.
