Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland

SUMMARY

Date: The Women’s EURO – July 2nd to 27th 2025. We offer a very flexible 5 night package to help you make the most of the Euro’s and your time in Switzerland.  Your trip will depend on fixtures and we will adjust your invoice accordingly to suit your dates and the numbers of days you require.

Guide: Hosted by Ginny and local women.

Walking Grade: Walks will be a range of levels with a focus on Goat 1 and 2 hikes. We will be offering walks with excursions to learn about Swiss Chocolate, Swiss Wines and visit the FIFA Museum to see more of its history.

Base:  Zurich in a choice of 3 women run hotels – The Alma, The Marta and Josephines. We can also help book hotels in other cities of you would like to stay a night or 2 in the other venues. All can be reached in a day from Zurich.

Price: £1230 for one person in a solo occupancy room. £1130 per person if sharing a room.

To include:

• 5 nights in Josephines Hotel in Zurich. If you would like to stay in the Marta it would be an additional cost of £44 per night or the Alma an additional £65 per night.
• 2 Evening Meals together with other women in Zurich
• 3 walks with excursions including the FIFA Museum, Chocolate Factory, a boat trip on Lake Zurich and Swiss wine tasting (or a brewery)
• A Zurich Pass which covers your transfer from the Airport, travel in Zurich including boat trips. Plus access to many tourist attractions
• Support with all your travel plans whilst in Switzerland

Not included:

• Your travel to Zurich or where ever you start in Switzerland
• Any additional travel within Switzerland to fixtures – we can help arrange
• Lunches during your trip
• Evening Meal on nights that are not organised by Walking Women

DETAILS

WalkingWomen will be hosting  5 day long holidays here to coincide with the Euro’s. The base will be Zurich with its easy access by train and plane. Just 6 hours via Paris by train. We will also be flexible for those wanting to join for a few days or for longer trips.

We can also give recommendations for hotels and activities in other hosting cities.

Zurich is a perfect summer base for swimming in the lake, hiking in the surrounding hills and nearby mountains. There are great restaurants and bars and we will be hosting events to get together and connect.

ITINERARY

This is a very flexible itinerary as we will work around fixtures.

During your stay we will offer a variety of walks with visits to see some great attractions.You can expect to visit the FIFA Museum, the chocolate factory, take a boat trip on Lake Zurich, walk in the mountains and forests surrounding Zurich. Take a swim in the Lake and experience Zurich summer life. We will organise a welcome dinner plus 1 other where you can meet other women and try the local food, wine and beer.

We will keep in touch with you and help you plan a wonderful summer trip to Switzerland during July 2nd to 27th. For booking we have assumed the 1st 5 nights but we will adjust dates according to when you would like your trip to be.
