Our WalkingWomen Wine Walks are popular and we wanted to add to our destinations and bring you Croatia. Visit some of the top wineries in the world and walk amongst the beauty of the region of Dalmatia led by Marija born and raised here. She cannot wait to share the magic of her land.

Walking Grade: Goat Level 1 as this is a cultural experience to walk and leisurely explore this part of Croatia.
Max elevation: 250 metres
Terrain: The walks are suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness. Surfaces will be varied and include paved roads,cobbled streets,dirt tracks,narrow trails and occasional rocky sections. if you need walking poles bring them.
Max distance: 9 kilometres/ 6 miles

Base: Hotel Plaza Omis chosen for its position right on one of the most beautiful and sandy beaches in Croatia. You will all have premium sea view rooms so you don’t miss waking up to see the sea! You will have time to swim in the sea but also relax in the hotels rooftop hot tub. The hotel is next to the historic heart of the town of Omis if you like wandering around towns in free time.
Arrivals: We meet in Split(SPU) and the journey time from the airport to your hotel is 45 minutes.
We will do an airport group transfer on the afternoon of Sunday 11th so please arrive at Split airport around 16.30. We recommend having a few days in Split before or after if you can and we can help arrange it.
If you cannot make this transfer time there is a bus, Uber or Taxi and we will give instructions on how to get to our hotel.
Departures: We will return to Split Airport at 8.30am on Sunday 18th so book onward flights after 12 noon .

Wherever we walk, we celebrate women’s contributions to culture, craft, and community!
Our hotel is nestled on the Dalmatia Coastline, next to the Adriatic Sea. The
perfect place to relax and unwind and to enjoy the rhythms of Mediterranean life.
ITINERARY
The itinerary may change depending on the weather or other situations out of our control. As always we say Trust Your Guide as they will make sure you get the best experience of their local homeland.
Day 1 – Arrivals Split and check into your hotel.
Settle in to our Hotel Plaza OMIS – Welcome Briefing and Evening Meal together.
We begin the journey with a welcome meeting to introduce your guides and fellow walkers. We then take a gentle orientation walk around OMIS before having our evening meal together in a lovely local restaurant. Your guide will present the week’s itinerary.
Day 2: Red & Blue Lakes + Grabovac Winery | Walk: 5 miles / 8 km
Today we head to Croatia’s unique and largely unexplored Red and Blue Lakes of Imotski. We
will walk the Red Lake first. We will then head into Imotski for free time, coffee, snacks. After the lunch break, we will then explore the Blue Lake.
The day ends with a visit to the Grabovac family winery, where you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of five wines paired with a delicious tapas platter featuring local organic produce, cheeses and homemade breads.
Day 3: St Anthonys Channel Walk and an early evening meal in Šibenik with PRGIN Winery Woman Wine Maker story by Ivana Prgin: | Walk: 5 miles / 9 km
Enjoy a scenic walk along the stunning St Anthony’s Channel, where coastal views and rich history make every step memorable. After some free time to explore the charming old town of Šibenik, we will dine together at one of Sibenik.s best restaurants. Leaving Sibenik may prove a challenge but it will be worth it as we visit the family-run PRGIN Winery. Here, you’ll hear the inspiring story of Ivana Prgin, a passionate woman winemaker
who’s reshaping the local wine scene
Day 4: KLIS Fortress, Sinj & Krolo Winery | Walk: 4 miles / 6 km
Start the day exploring the dramatic KLIS Fortress, famously featured in Game of Thrones
and offering sweeping views of Split and the Adriatic. Continue to the historic town of Sinj,
where we’ll visit the Sinj Fortress and the Alka Museum, celebrating the region’s unique
cultural heritage. Enjoy free time in Sinj for lunch and a relaxed wander. In the afternoon, we
head to a Private Family Estate & Boutique Winery to round off the day. A Traditional
Croatian Dinner will be served, paired with their exceptional wines.
Day 5: Relax Day
There will be extra options suggested for those who might want to do something. Otherwise it is a day for the pool, the beach or a wander into Omis.
Day 6: Krka NaVonal Park Day & visit Skradin. We walk into the Park and experience waterfalls and lush trails. We end the day in scenic Skradin. Walk: 5 miles / 8 km
The day starts with a visit to the stunning Krka NaVonal Park. Walk into the park along scenic
trails, taking time to explore its famous waterfalls and lush, green landscapes. Aber soaking in
the natural beauty, end the day in the charming riverside town of Skradin. We have an evening meal
at one of the best restaurants in Skradin famous for its risotto.
Day 7: Pelješac Peninsula: Wine, Walls & Sea Views. Walk: 2 miles / 4 km
Explore Croatia’s legendary wine country on the Pelješac Peninsula! We will start in the historic
town of Ston, home to ancient salt pans and the second-longest stone walls in the world—a
thrilling climb with panoramic views, rivaled only by the Great Wall of China. After the walk,
we will reward ourselves with a visit to the stunning Rizman Winery for a wine tasting featuring
local varietals, delicious bites, and unforgettable views over the Adriatic.
Day 8: Farewell or in Croatian “Doviðenja”
We leave for Split around 8.30am after breakfast.
