ITINERARY
The itinerary may change depending on the weather but you can expect to hike a major part of the Coastal Coast Path.
These are the 6 days of walking to cover over 70 miles/100km during the week.
Walk 1: 11.5 miles/ 18.5km
Walk from the Cape Cornwall Club to Lands End and continue on to Minack Point and the lovely village of Portcurno. We will visit the open air Minack Theatre with superb views across Portcurno Bay as far as the Lizard Peninsula. The turquoise water and golden rocks are an incredible sight.
There will be time to have your photo at Lands End!
Walk 2: 9 miles/ 14.5 km
Walk from our hotel to Gunards Head and on to Zennor Head
Walk 3: 6 miles/9.6 km
Today we take a minibus to Gunards Head Hotel where we walk to Caribs Bay and on to Lealant Saltings. There is a challenging section over boulders so we will decide our route depending on the weather. Boulders are not fun when wet!
We will have time to visit St Ives with its lovely shops, bars and the harbour.
Walk 4: 11 miles/17.7 km
Today we return to the Minack Theatre on the opposite coast line. From here we will walk to Penzance via the beautiful harbour village of Mousehole.
In Penzance we will view the wonderful St Michael’s Mount and if the tide allows we will walk the causeway to the Mount.
Walk 5 : 9.5 miles/15 km
We take transport to Carbis Bay and walk to Gwithian to take a look at the Godfrey Lighthouse.
Walk 6: 7 miles /12 km
We will head back to Gwithian and continue to the seaside village of Portreath. Here we will enjoy a congratulatory drink overlooking the beach at the Portreath Arms.
