Why the Laugavegur Trail?

  • It is one of the most incredible shorter hikes in the world
  • It has landscapes formed by millennia of glaciers and volcanoes
  • You explore wonderful glacier-fed lakes, deep canyons, and hidden waterfalls

There is a reason National Geographic named this 34-mile trek through Iceland’s Southern Highlands one of the most beautiful hikes in the world. The geothermal features give Yellowstone a run for its money, with looming glaciers, hidden waterfalls, inviting thermal springs, and black sand deserts dotted with giant obsidian shards. This legendary all-women guided hike will have you sleeping under the midnight sun as you trek from place to place on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure! Move the boundaries and explore the neverending beauty of Laugavegur in an all-female environment. With each mile, you’ll feel more confident and have a more refined sense of self than before. There may even be time for some yoga or lake dipping to ensure everyone has a full well-being experience.

The itinerary is a tried and tested route but may change at the discretion of our local guide if weather conditions change.
